Regional IT Project Manager

Knauf, a global leader in building materials, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Regional IT project manager, an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic regional team and contribute to the success of international company.
A Regional IT Project Manager oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects across multiple locations within a designated region. They ensure projects meet budgetary, scheduling, and quality standards while coordinating with stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business goals and managing regional infrastructure and IT personnel.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Define project scopes, create schedules, and manage the full project lifecycle for regional initiatives.
Regional Oversight: Coordinate IT operations, infrastructure upgrades, and system improvements across various field offices.
Budget Management: Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets to ensure cost-effective technology implementation.
Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between local, regional, and corporate teams to align on deliverables.
Risk Mitigation: Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, taking corrective actions as necessary.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and evaluate local IT staff to maintain high performance and service quality.
Required Work Experience & Skills
· 10+ years of experience in IT field service, technical support, or IT operations.
· Proven experience in managing IT teams and service delivery operations.
· Strong technical knowledge of IT systems, network infrastructure, and troubleshooting methodologies.
· Proven experience in IT project management, often requiring familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or Scrum methodologies.
· Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· Extensive understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and software applications
· Experience in budgeting, resource planning, and vendor management.
Other Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified: IT Service Management are preferred.
Languages: Proficiency in Latvian and English, other EU languages will be advantage.
Willingness to travel within the region.
